10/01/10 - Just to add insult to injury, Rich Kelly just finished rebuilding his "Great Planes Giant 25% YAK 54 3D" plane and was on its solo flight when Rich lost his perception and plowed into the corn field while making an approach from the left side of the airfield. Did I say plowed? It was more like Rich tried to plant his plane in the corn field. Unfortunately as the first picture shows there's no more money right now to rebuild this plane and as the second picture shows this plane is definitely not reparable this time around. At least Sponge Bob braced for impact and was not harmed.
